'Walking with my Iguana' by Brian Moses

I live down near Hastings, and in Hastings there's a guy there who's got a pet iguana and when the weather gets really hot, he takes his iguana on a walk along Hastings beach on a dog lead. Sometimes the iguana sits curled up over his shoulder, they really do look strange, and when I saw them I thought I really must write something about them, and this is called 'Walking with my Iguana'. https://childrens.poetryarchive.org/teach/resources/brian-moses-walking-with-my-iguana/

Home by Carson Ellis

Influential artist Carson Ellis makes her solo picture-book debut with a whimsical tribute to the many possibilities of home. Home might be a house in the country, an apartment in the city, or even a shoe. Home may be on the road or the sea, in the realm of myth, or in the artist's own studio. A meditation on the concept of home and a visual treat that invites many return visits.
